Finally, a REAL doctor with integrity!!
There's not another ENT in between Amarillo and Dallas that I would even suggest seeing. I spent 6 years with another group of "doctors" that just kept blowing off my symptoms, saying "it's just allergies". It took Dr. Cunningham 15 minutes to diagnose what could've cost me my life! He's smart, funny, caring & will tell you the way it is, even if it's hard. I ended up having surgery that I had to go to Dallas for & the doctor he referred me to was just as awesome! As far as wait time, there was only 1 time that I had to wait about 30 minutes but, the way I look at it is that he spends all the time necessary to answer EVERY question I have & doesn't rush

We asked our pediatrician to refer us here, because it was the first available appointment & we were concerned that our daughter (18 mo) had hearing issues that was affecting her development. Our son had tubes in his ears from a Lubbock facility, so we had a little experience with this previously.
The wait time was quick, within 15 min. We loved Kassidy (audiologist). She is great with kids & very calming for a concerned mother.
Then, we were able to visit with Dr Fichandler. He was very kind, informative, and also great with kids. The overall appt was within an hour (with hearing exam, audiologist, and ENT). Highly recommend Quail Creek ENT. Thank you for taking great care of us!!

It's hard to find a good doctor sometimes, particularly a specialist. Quail Creek ENT has good ones- they take their time with you,are bright, and most importantly, can actually help. Helped both me and my granddaughter.
What is
Balloon Sinus Dilation?
Balloon Sinus Dilation is a new surgical procedure that can be performed in an office setting for treatment of chronic sinusitis.
It is a quick, safe and minimally invasive procedure, performed under local anesthesia. A small balloon is inserted into the nose using an endoscope and video camera. The balloon is then inflated to dilate and open the sinus pathway and allow for better drainage from the sinus cavity. The recovery period is generally 1-2 days and is appropriate for patients with chronic sinus symptoms who have not responded well to treatment with medications like antibiotics, allergy medications or nasal steroid sprays.
It differs from traditional functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), which is usually performed in an outpatient surgery center setting and involves general anesthesia. Balloon procedures can often be done in conjunction with other nasal/sinus procedures such as a septoplasty, turbinate resection or polypectomy.
